Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice, film and television star born on January 31, 1937, and died January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films during the late 1950s. In later years, she was an important actress in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 until 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on various television productions. She was also a part of Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist , and choreographer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
