Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She won the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
